Background info on Jo
Jo is a 25 year old Landscape Architect who works at the Architects and Engineering practice “Building Design Partnership” based on hill Street in Bristol city centre. She has worked there since September 2008 and it was there that she met boyfriend Greg Reardon (27), an Architect working towards his professional chartership.

The two share a flat on Canynge Road, Clifton, which was the last place she was known to have been on Friday night (17th December). The last recorded movements were from a purchase Jo made from Tesco Metro on Regent Street in Clifton at 8:40pm.

As a father of two girls aged 26 and 29 my heart goes out to you both at this terrible time. I cannot begin to imagine what you are going through, but i hope and pray you find the strength to get you through . My thoughts and love are with you.

My Heart goes out to your family at this difficult time after reading the story on sky news website… i cant imagine what they must be going through at this difficult time … its every parents worst knightmare

Please can you provide a date of birth and if possible time and place for dear Jo, there are astrologers that can look at this, if it helps or not it does no harm to try

I saw the appeal on bbc news24 and was heartbroken for you all i live in east anglia and feel so sad for you all at this time.My family are also thinking of you all as well you are all in our thoughts and prayers.I dont pray as often as i should but i have prayed so much for the safe return of your daughter God bless you all Howard xxx

I wish the family peace of mind and hope they find all the answers as to what has happened to Joanna. My heart goes out to them and I cried when I saw Joanna’s parents making their appeal. My own parents had to do this also 2 months ago. I recently lost my sister Virginia in the Dominican Republic and we as a family have many unanswered questions, which is the worst feeling possible when you don’t know what has happened to someone you love. I hope and pray she will be found safe and well.

my heart and thoughts go to both families.
however if mr reardon arrived home after a long drive from sheffield surely he would want a little time in his home to reccuperate.
i cannot understand why if miss yeates or whoever else arrived at the flat at approximately half an hour later then mr reardon,why didnt he see or hear her enter the flat and leave a set of keys,a tesco receipt and purse on a table or someplace else?.

Hi, please check the facts. Mr Reardon arrived back from Sheffield Sunday night and reported Jo missing. Jo returned home the Friday night and that is when the keys etc would have been left there.

Being as she left all her belongings behind have all the flats where she lived, and also the neighbouring ones been fully searched(i.e gardens/lofts/storage areas/everywhere)? Is it possible to get dogs into the area to help.

I am so sorry for your loss, especialy at this time. I know you will feel it is impossible to recover from this, but, i truly believe Jo is watching over you and would wish your happiness.
God has a plan for her, I am sure. She is in good hands now and you must remember the lovely times you have had with her in your life.

I was struck by the bravery of her parents’ comments before Christmas. I so wished that she was still alive but her parents faced the strong possibility that she wasn’t. This gives me hope that they will – not immediately but at some point -be able to carry on and enjoy their future lives. I wish them well

My deepest sympathy and condolences to the family and friends of Joanna Yeates. The shock must be so great. I can understand exactly though, that her father says he would be relieved when they knew the identity of the find at Failand. It’s the not knowing that kills you. When you know for sure exactly what happened, you can deal with your grief and come to some sort of acceptance. My heart goes out to all the family. The shared experience will bond them closer together and help them to cope.

I avoid the news for reasons like this, such shocking sad news comes at us too frequently. I have only just learnt of the discovery of Jo, and I just feel so sick. I pray that the vile swine who has done this to Jo and her family pays the price. I really do believe an eye for an eye is the best justice, but at the very least this ‘beast’ must be locked up for good. NOT SOME COURTS VERSION OF LIFE… FOR GOOD, TILL DEATH DO HE/SHE PART!.

My heart goes out to Jo’s parents and family, it is beyond belief that someone could do such a horrible thing to such a lovely girl.
I hope they find who ever did this and they rot in jail until they die.

My thoughts are with the family. We are coming to terms with the murder of a dear boy Adil Basharat in Milton Keynes a few weeks ago. No-one can understand the horror of such a loss until you experience such a thing. God be with you and give you strength.

I have followed developments leading up to and after xmas. I hoped dearly that Jo may have died from natural causes, however nieave that was to think.
I am so very sorry for your pain and the hellish time you are going through. Jo did not deserve this, so unfair and such a lovely cheerful looking young lady. I have an 11 year old and worry about her future in this sick society that seems to reign.
I hope when they catch who did this, they bring back the death penalty…….

my deepest thoughts and sympothy are with you the famaily and with jo.
time is a great healer, my mothers child was murdered, it is hard but take oneday at a time.
remember the good and you will come through.
